Dear Prayer Warriors,
Thank you for continuously praying and supporting us during this missions trip. PRAISE GOD that the Sunday program went smoothly and many parents were able to enjoy and see what their child was learning everyday. As this VBS camp is coming close to an end for the 2 week program, we have gotten closer to the kids day by day by breaking into small groups and having discussions. Yesterday, we shared about what we were grateful for and also what Bible stories we liked. Many of the kids have enjoyed singing the worship songs every morning and are sometimes singing them anywhere they go.
This week, the kids have been learning about the fruit of the spirits and trying to apply it to daily life. We have been going over the story of Abraham and tying in the fruits of the spirit. So far, we have gone over love, faithfulness, peace, self-control, goodness, and patience. For the older kids, we have been able to see that some have tried to apply what they learn and are slowly fighting those sins that they struggle with. To go along with our fruit of the spirits this week, we had asked our students to perform skits that will present the fruits of the spirit, which they will be performing for us tomorrow.
Throughout the week, the children have also been practicing Bible drill and will have a final drill on Friday to end the week. We had done a practice round today in preparation for their final one. In addition, we will be having another water balloon fight with the kids on Friday, so please pray for safety. Today after the VBS, we had a pizza party to celebrate with all the teachers and TA’s as it will be some of the TA’s last day tomorrow. During the dinner, we had good conversations and were just able to enjoy one another’s company as we ate.

This is a quick update about our alter call. Thank you for your diligence in praying for us, especially for our alter call today. PRAISE GOD that it went well today; 56 of our children have accepted Christ and another 9 have rededicated their lives to continue to follow Jesus and love Him more.
As for the one week program, today was their last day and we ended the day with a water balloon fight and a relay: the one week program against the two week program. However, we will still be seeing some of these children this upcoming Sunday for their performances.

Thank you for continuing to pray for us; praise God that none of our team members have gotten severely sick. Also, the weather has been good despite weather reports saying it was supposed to be raining almost every day. We have been enjoying teaching and slowly starting to build relationships with the children in both of our VBS programs. Some of them have had other commitments but have chosen to come to our program. They have enjoyed the song, “Deep Deep” and have been singing it everywhere they go. We have been doing various crafts, games, learning to play the recorder, skits, and also Bible drill. With all these activities, we will be having a children Sunday service this coming Sunday where the children will be performing things they have learned.
As we are wrapping up our first week and our one week VBS program, our team has been able to work through tough situations and continue to remember that we are serving together for his Glory as one body. Praise God that two of our children have accepted Christ today and will be continuing to go to church with their mother. Tomorrow, we will be doing the alter call after the message so here are some things you can continue to pray for!!

Thank you for your prayers and support! All 11 of us have arrived safely here in Taiwan. We were able to meet with the local church helpers helping us for the next two weeks. We worshipped with the congregation that will hold our VBS and we are thankful for the warm hospitality. After service, we were able to start decorating and setting up the classrooms. Praise God that the orientation went smoothly with the local church/TA’s and we were able to get to know one another better. Tomorrow morning will be our first day and here are some of our prayer request.
Hello!! Thank you for signing up to our email list to pray for us! Five of us are about to get on our plane to Taiwan and six of our members have already arrived safely in Taiwan. We will be holding two different programs, a one week program and two week program with various activities such as Bible stories, crafts, games, music, and Bible drill! This weekend, we will all be arriving to the church in Hualien that we will be holding our VBS, to prepare our classrooms.
